About the Role
ClearlySo’s Impact Fund Advisory team provides bespoke research, structuring advice, and capital-raising services to impact funds across the UK and Europe. Recent successes have included capital-raising strategy and execution for a leading impact-focused UK equities fund, a feasibility study for an early-stage venture debt fund, and an impact sector analysis for a lower mid-market private equity investor.
Impact Fund Advisory is a fast-growing business division at ClearlySo with a full and exciting pipeline of opportunities. As a result, we are seeking Consultants to support the existing team, initially on a project-led short-term basis. The position can be full-time or part time, depending on the candidate and the project.
We are looking to hear from Impact Fund Advisory Consultants with experience across one or more of the following areas:
– Research and due diligence into investment opportunities for private equity funds
– Strategic and financial advice regarding fund design and structure
– Financial modelling of fund structures to assess potential for scale and profitability
– Sales and distribution of fund opportunities including devising a fundraising strategy, liquidity analyses of investor appetite, preparing marketing documents, and executing capital-raising from individual and/or institutional investors
In addition, all candidates should be analytical, commercially-minded, and enthusiastic about the opportunity to support the growth and development of impact funds. Previous experience in impact investing is a bonus, but not essential.
The length of the consultancy projects will vary from 1 to 6 months initially. We anticipate full-time roles will potentially develop for the right candidate.
If you are interested, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org with an up to date CV, and a brief letter telling us why your skills and experience make you a good fit.
We are always on the lookout for outstanding candidates to join ClearlySo’s Impact Research & Innovation team.
ClearlySo’s IR&I team are delivering a new set of tools and services to empower private equity investment firms to take action to increase the positive impact of their portfolios. This is a challenging and innovative project, breaking new ground in incorporating impact into the investment decisions of private equity firms.
Throughout 2017 there will be several exciting roles available within the team, with possibilities to join full-time, part-time or freelance.
As of January 2017, we are particularly looking for:
Part-time or freelance ESG/impact analysts, who bring a wealth of knowledge about existing ESG & impact measurement best practice, and strong research and analytical skills.
Part-time or freelance business development experts, who know the private equity industry inside out, with a deep understanding of the opportunities, constraints and people within it.
The team is currently small, so there are lots of opportunities for growth. All candidates should be analytical, commercially-minded, and enthusiastic about the opportunity to influence private equity investors to actively consider impact.
If these roles sound exciting, or you have other suggestions of how you could contribute, please email us on email@example.com telling us why you find the work of the Impact Research & Innovation team appealing, and what skills and experience you could add to the team.
