Workshops

Key to expanding the social economy is to improve the operating capacity of social enterprises. We do this through a number of workshops and seminars.

These events range from single training sessions offering intensive tuition to much larger seminars. Our ongoing partnership with The Guardian has led to a series of half day seminars at which leading experts offer advice on issues such as raising capital and engaging with public sector spin outs.

At the more intimate end of the scale we offer workshops helping entreprneurs with the nuts and bolts of building a business. Here you can get help with your pitch, improving your financial management or team building skills and fundraising practices.

In addition, we've also taken to the web providing a number of webinars to students around the world. We provide intensive training sessions for all attendees at social investment events as well as more widely available seminars on topics such as ‘what investors want’, or at the other end of the scale, webinar introductions to the world of social business and enterprise.
