Social investment speed dating

Social investment speed dating is a simple way to help you access high net worth individuals looking to support and/or invest in social businesses and enterprises on a one to one basis.

The format is much the same as traditional speed dating. You’ll have three to four minutes to put you case to each investor before they have a few minutes to ask any questions. When the bell rings it’s "all change" and the next investor will come to your table. Finally we invite all attendees to join us for a drinks reception for network and follow up.

Demand for these events is always very high, so we'll only take forward those applicants we believe have the best shot at securing investment. Once selected, we'll invite you to our offices for an intensive pitch preparation session with experts. We help you refine your pitch, ask the tough questions and help to maximise your chances of gaining investment.  

If your application is not successful, then don't give up. We'll provide plenty of feedback and advice on how to make your company more attractive to investors. You will gradually acquire many of the tools to come back stronger next time. Attendees have often not only secured investment, but have also found investors ready to help with advice and consultation and contacts to share.
