At Teach First, we work in partnership with schools and other organisations to end inequality in education by building a community of exceptional leaders who create change within classrooms, schools and across society.
We are looking for a dynamic, dedicated individual, with a passion for the role of social enterprise in breaking the link between a child’s background and their educational success, to manage relationships with social enterprises to shape the future of our work with social entrepreneurs and support them to have maximum impact on reducing the gaps in educational equality.
As Senior Innovation Relationships Officer, you’ll enable our partner social entrepreneurs to scale more quickly and increase their impact more rapidly. This is a brand new position, created to take our network of existing social enterprises to a new level and enable as many of them as possible to become high impact national charities in their own right that shape and inform what Teach First does.
Our community have established 22 social enterprises focused on educational inequality already, and this number is growing, so we need someone who can quickly build an understanding of diverse projects and see meaningful connections so that we can support some of the most innovative leaders in education.
You’ll build strong partnership relationships with the social entrepreneurs themselves and a wide range of experts both within Teach First and in the corporate, philanthropic and social innovation organisations to make connections that enable Teach First and the social entrepreneurs to measurably increase their impact.
