Socially responsible investing (SRI) is a growing phenomenon, even in these troubled times. There are an estimated  £2.7 trillion of SRI funds currently under management in Europe alone.

It's not just institutional investors either; roughly a quarter of SRI investors are individuals who see a way for their money to make a double impact, both through sound financial returns and improvements to society & the environment.

What does it cost?

As an investor, you can browse the site and find businesses to invest in at no cost. If a successful investment is made as a result of contact through the site or through our speed dating events, ClearlySo asks for an introduction fee of 3%, payable by the investee.

How to identify and contact companies looking for capital

Not all the companies on the site are looking for capital, but it’s easy to find the ones that are. You can:

• Search for them using the filter on the social business and enterprises directory (or click the button below!)
• When browsing, look out for companies with the green £ icon to the right of the company name.

Each company profile contains further information on the type of investment required and the option to contact the company. 

In order to protect our client businesses and potential investors from spams and hoaxes, we have set things up so that all emails sent through the  site come to us first.  On receipt of your email we will call and verify your request and then pass your enquiry on to the business.
