City Of London research reportIn early 2011 the City of London Corporation, together with Big Lottery Fund and the City Bridge Trust asked ClearlySo to publish research into the appetite for social enterprise investment in the City and what structures would be most appealing.

Much has been written on social investment, but deal flow to date have been relatively limited. The aim of this study was gauge enthusiasm for investment to suggest structures which could catalyse growth and identify possible obstacles.

The study was written by Katherine Hill how has previously conducted research for The Cabinet Office, NESTA and Oxford University among others. She interviewed roughly 60 leading investors. The results were produced at a major event at the Guildhall jointly hosted by City of London Corporation, City Bridge Trust and Big Lottery Fund. The response has so far been excellent. According to City of London Corporation it is the most dowloaded report ever from their website.
