The 'looking for capital' service
This service gives your businesses access to a growing pool of socially-minded investors.
How do I flag my company as ‘looking for investment'?
This is a members-only service.
If you are a member of ClearlySo, just log in to your account and fill out the ‘looking for capital’ page. If you are not a member yet, why not join? It’s a simple process and we’re offering a discounted annual rate.
What happens next?
An
appears next to your profile on the social businesses directory and you appear on a list for investors.
When an investor is interested, they contact us through the site and we forward details of their interest to you. It's very simple.
How much does it cost?
Nothing initially (although you will have had to become a member) but there is a 3% charge if an investment is made as a result of the introduction, payable by the social business/enterprise.
This is included in the terms and conditions which you will be asked to agree to as part of the sign up process. We will follow up with companies that have been contacted through the site but this system is based on trust & goodwill, and we will rely on you to let us know what happens.
Why does it cost money?
We are, like you, a social business which means that we depend on revenues, not on grants and funding, and believe that the 3% charge is very competitive with other comparable services.

What people say
We have worked with the ClearlySo team over the past few years and they bring a degree of professionalism and dedication to the sector, as well as commercial disciplines, which have been really welcome and invigorating.
