Its history
EfC was founded in 1990 by John Wood, originally focusing on library and information services in the UK and internationally. It was registered as a limited company in 1997. It soon expanded to provide education management and publishing, and leadership studies. In 1999 EfC was boosted by a specialist in Information Communications Technology (ICT). This allowed EfC to develop capabilities in digital cultural, educational and research resources across the heritage, information and higher education sectors.
