Dinner4Good is a website tool that enables charities to raise funds online and helps fundraisers to raise money for their favourite charities by inviting friends round to dinner.

Leadership Waterloo Region

Leadership Waterloo Region's Community Leadership Development Programs are exciting initiatives for rising decision-makers. Our Core Program is designed to help participants acquire both a broader understanding of the critical issues affecting our community and the leadership skills necessary to resolve them. The program helps prepare participants for the challenges of their own life-long leadership journeys. Some of the many ways this program is unique: 1. Emphasis on practical experience as a key part of the learning process, dealing with existing community issues in the region; 2. Involving participants from all sectors of society and reflecting on the diverse nature of the region; 3. We seek to balance participation between business, government and the social profit sectors in order to nurture a new leadership network for the future; 4. Integrating new leaders into the existing community leader network. Our Youth on Board Program connects our our youth leaders with established leaders in our community. Young leaders, aged 18 to 23 years, are matched with mentors who sit on local Boards of Directors. This program provides the opportunity for young leaders to learn about board governance and, with the assistance of their mentors, participate in the governance of a local social profit agency.
