The Hub is a global community of people from every profession, background and culture working at 'new frontiers' to tackle the world's most pressing social, cultural and environmental challenges. We've been working across four continents, and 12 cities to create places for people who change things. This is the ambition. We set out to create places that borrow from the best of a member's club, an innovation agency, a serviced office and a think-tank to create a very different kind of innovation environment. Hubs are located in 14 major world cities. Ten more Hubs will open in 2009 and we have ambitions for 50 Hubs by 2013.How is it social?
What is its business model?
The Hub's business model thrives off membership revenue. 1000s of socially minded professionals around the world pay for 'time based tariffs' that affords them access to spaces for meeting, working, learning, innovating and relaxing in major world cities.
