Buzzbank is a registered trademark of SellAVenture LLP, a social enterprise funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Tudor Trust, CIVA, Lloyd Foundation and private investors. Its Chairman and Co-founder is Michael Norton, OBE, Director of CIVA and author of “365 Ways to Change the World” and co-founder of UnLtd (Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs). CEO and Co-founder Theresa Burton has over 16 years experience at senior management levels for large global organisations where she has spearheaded and led the development of several e-business solutions delivering a range of services and on-line products.
Buzzbank completed raising its start-up funding in December 2009 and started development in January targeting for launch in September of 2010.
Buzzbank is supported by Brunswick Group, a global communications and public relations firm and Bates Wells & Braithwaite, a leading law firm in the charity and social enterprise sector.
