What do they do?
RECYCLA is the first Social Enterprise in Latin America to recycle electronic waste. They are fellows of the Schwab Foundation and work under a triple bottom line model.
How are they social?
They recruit ex-offenders and inmates still in custody to work in their recycling plant, giving them that first new opportunity out of jail and much needed employment stability, in order to reduce repeat offenders rates.
